Only available in the 787B Le Mans winning livery ! However, Mazda UK found that some were 'sticking' in the showrooms, so two were returned to their 'Special Edition' line at Sheerness and repainted black and a third orange. That is a known fact but it is also rumoured but not been proven, that a fourth was re-sprayed blue. |

The Le Mans was Built to mark the victory of the 787B Le Mans 24 hour
winning car (hence why only 24 were ever made) interestingly the 787B
was the first and only Japanese car ever to win the famous Le Mans. Much
in the same way the
BBR was converted the Le Mans
was primarily a performance MX-5 with all the work going into the engine
and related parts, as opposed to adding unnecessary accessories
such as air conditioning and electric mirrors, the people that purchased
these cars were only interested in one thing, performance. The car came with a certificate of authenticity signed by Johnny Herbert who actually drove the Lemans 787B to victory (see photo) |

The turbo conversion is not to be confused with a simple bolt on accessory but a
well engineered conversion, so good in fact that Mazda endorsed it with
their 3 year 60,000 mile warranty.
