What's in the name ?

The "Arizona" was named after a place in America, Mazda released several other Limited Editions named after places in America, for example the "Nevada or Phoenix"

This features my (Website Editor) Second MX-5 which won awards for the best kept MX-5 within the UK owners club, please note it is note entirely standard (side indicators and reflectors have been changed to clear, and the engine has undergone extensive polishing by myself, and performance enhanced with a Racing Beat air filter and exhaust)

General Arizona Specification Details

The Arizona is based on a Standard car.

Details of the extra equipment fitted to make this limited Edition are listed below.

The Arizona was a very well equipped car with features such as Unique Enkie alloy wheels with 195/50/15 tyres, The interior featured classic black leather heated seats, steering wheel, gear knob and hand brake lever with silver stitching.

Aluminium style bars and wind windbreak were also fitted as standard as was 2 extra tweeter speakers for the CD player. A aluminium centre console look trim, rev counter, speedometer and vent rings gave it a very sporty look whilst retaining a classy feel. Special mats were also supplied in black with matching edging (Yellow, red and silver according to the colour of the exterior)

The only thing visually missing on the exterior (compared with the top of the range sport) was the front fog lights, although these could be fitted at extra cost from the dealer for around £350)

The 1.8 car also had a torsen limited-slip diff as standard which was not fitted to the 1.6 version.
