  General California  Specification Details
The California is based on a Standard 1.6.
Details of the extra equipment fitted to make this limited Edition are listed below.
After the success in 1995 with the MK1 California that was released to celebrate 5 years of the MX-5 it was inevitable that Mazda would release a MK2 in the same colour.

In 2000 that's exactly what Mazda done, baring the same name it was also a huge success.

Some of the extra equipment fitted to the car included 15 x 6JJ alloy wheels with 195/50/15 with locking wheel nuts.

The car was finished in a striking Sunburst Yellow paint which really suited the cars sporty appearance.

The car also came with special interior mats which also featured the "California" logo.
