  The Dakar is based on a Standard 1.8
  Details of the extra equipment fitted to make this limited Edition are listed below.
 

The Dakar was each given a unique build number (1 - 400)

16 Spoke 15" X 7J FOMB Activa Alloy wheels & locking wheel nuts were fitted alongside Dunlop SP Sport 195/50vr 15" Tyres.

The exterior was finished in Twilight Blue this was unique to the Dakar Limited Edition and had not been used before.  

The interior was given luxurious grey leather with matching blue piping around the edge of the seats and matching door panels. A burr walnut centre console and chrome cockpit brace alongside chrome scuff plates made the interior a nice place to be.

Other key features included a Momo leather steering wheel, special Dakar floor mats and Sony XR C500 RDS radio cassette, an immobiliser help stop what would be thieves.

Mazda described the car as a "Timeless Classic"
