  General Trilogy  Specification Details
The Trilogy is based on a Standard 1.8
Details of the extra equipment fitted to make this limited Edition are listed below.
The limited edition Trilogy certainly stood out in the crowd with its gleaming black coachwork and chrome plated wheels and was also very good value at just under £17,000 on the road following the theme of " a trilogy" only 333 of these special edition cars were produced.

The exterior featured chrome plated alloy wheels only ever before featured on the 10th Anniversary limited edition, these were essentially the same alloy wheel used by Mazda on the standard MX-5 but received a chrome finish. It is worth noting that Mazda a numerous complaints about the wheels corroding on the 10th Anniversary and a lot of owners had them replaced under warranty, worth checking before you buy.

The interior featured luxury Medici grey leather seats, a 2 tone leather Nardi steering, Nardi gear knob and handbrake grip.

A single CD player with an additional 2 tweeter speakers (normally only fitted to the top of the range sport model)

The interior also shone like a diamond with a chrome centre console with its unique build number (1 -333) chrome air vent bezels and chrome door handles. The instruments dials also were highlighted with chrome rings.

Stainless steel cill plates with the Trilogy logo greeted the owner as he or she opened the door, while a nice finishing touch not featured before on any limited edition was the logo embroidered into the face of the seat.

The Trilogy emblem can be found mounted on the front wings.

The owner also received a solid silver key ring which featured three 0.5 carat diamonds.

While not being the easiest of colour and wheel combinations to keep clean, surely one of the most striking and classy looking MX-5's on the road today. If you can find a good example then it is certainly one to consider purchasing (remember to check the wheels for signs of superficial corrosion)
